Seeing Christ as who He is!
God’s Final Word in His Son
Hebrews 1: 1-3 (NASB)
1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. 3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.
One of the great privileges of being a Christian is to honor Christ and thank Him for Who He is and what he has done, will do and is doing in our lives. Think about what Hebrews 1:3 says “..and He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power.”! What a statement of truth. We see Christ as the one who is glorified, who is all powerful, who gave Himself for our sins and sits at the right hand of God.
In our prayers, we want to Adore Him before we go any further in our prayers! What a great way to start out a prayer to Him. Seeing Him for being the savior that He is, seeing Him as the source of our salvation, seeing Him as almighty God and that He upholds all things by the word of His power!
